Job summary

Ara Diagnostic Imaging, part of Radiology Partners, is seeking a nuclear medicine technologist to perform examinations with ALARA principles across multiple sites in the Austin area. You will ensure quality imaging, patient comfort, and safety while collaborating with radiologists and support staff.

The role requires ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, venipuncture proficiency, and experience with RIS/PACS. Join a team committed to clinical excellence and community-focused care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT), CPR, BLS, MRT, CEU credits maintained. ACLS preferred.
• Must be proficient in venipuncture.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency and proficiency in all nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations per established protocols.
• Explain exams, medications, radiation safety, and positioning to patients; manage IVs and EKG leads as needed.
• Review patient charts for exam instructions and ensure images are transmitted to PACS per policy.
