Job summary

UF Health in Gainesville is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to independently perform all phases of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures in an educational facility, following department protocols.

You will document all radioactive materials and medical records in compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations. On-call rotation is required and certification/licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine from AMA approved program.
• Must have certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB and licensure from the Florida DOH.
• Preferred CT Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB and licensure by Florida DOH.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs all phases of diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures following department protocol.
• Accurately documents all radioactive materials and medical record information in compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations.
• Rotational on-call required.

Education

Associate of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine

AMA approved program meeting JRCNMT requirements

Certification by ARRT and/or NMTCB

Florida DOH licensure

Preferred CT Certification by ARRT/NMTCB
