Career Land Center, LLC in Fort Pierce, Florida, is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using ionizing radiation while following ALARA safety standards. You will operate specialized nuclear medicine equipment, produce high-quality images, and support physicians in diagnosis across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities include obtaining images per orders, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining records, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare

Qualifications

• Associate Degree required.
• Current State Registered Radiologic Technician license required.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or NMTCB certification required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow ALARA principles and radiation safety guidelines during all procedures.
• Prepare, process, and organize diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain equipment performance and report any operational concerns.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
