Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the PET Department. The role involves performing nuclear medicine procedures across age groups under the direction of a radiologist, ensuring high-quality images and strict ALARA practices.

Education requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program with ARRT and/or CNMT credentials. 1+ year of prior experience is preferred; strong communication and teaching skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited 2- or 4-year Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• ARRT and/or CNMT through the NMTCB.
• Experience: 1+ years in a general Nuclear Medicine department is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging procedures under a board-certified radiologist.
• Draft imaging protocols to ensure image quality and ALARA.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Educate patients and families about the care being provided.
• Demonstrate teamwork and problem-solving in the department.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for each individual that walks through our doors. This person is responsible for working under the direction of a board certified radiologist, performing nuclear medicine procedures of varying complexities on infant, child, adolescent, adult and later adult patients, ensuring quality images of all appropriate anatomical structures for interpretation by the responsible radiologist. Maintaining ALARA at all times.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Exceptional Patient Care: Must understand we exist for the patients and make their care the number one priority.

• Strong Educator: Instructs students and precepts new colleagues as assigned. Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.

Requirements
