Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and support diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures on a full-time basis at the Main Campus. You will operate gamma camera systems, thyroid probe, and xenon ventilation unit while ensuring patient safety and compliance with department policies.

The role requires ARRT NM or NMTCB certification, Indiana license, and BLS, with orientation completed.

Qualifications

• ARRT NM or NMTCB certification required.
• Indiana license required.
• Current BLS certification and Reid Health orientation completed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately evaluates requests for nuclear medicine procedures.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals per physicians' orders.
• Provides care appropriate to the age-specific needs of the patients served.
• Operates gamma camera systems, thyroid probe, and xenon ventilation unit.
• Follows NRC requirements and Quality Management Program (QMP) policies.
• Documents procedures accurately and communicates effectively with patients and families.
