Qualifications

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
• Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT
• Current BCLS (AHA) required
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Proficient computer skills
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred
• Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals for administration, measure and mix doses safely
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients via IV, oral, or inhalation
• Perform imaging studies using nuclear medicine equipment (e.g., SPECT)
• Operate imaging cameras to capture images of tracers in organs/tissues
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and proper handling/disposal of materials
