Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time day-shift role in Torrance, CA. The position involves performing radionuclide-based imaging procedures, processing data, and delivering patient-centered care in our hospital imaging department.

The role requires AMA-approved radiologic technologist training, multiple certifications, and at least 6 months to 2 years of nuclear medicine experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
• National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures.
• Process data and produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Maintain professional ethics and patient care standards.
• Operate computer systems used in image processing.
