Job summary

Cardiovascular Institute of the South is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform cardiac PET/CT imaging and related nuclear medicine procedures on-site in Meridian, MS. The role requires licensure, NMTCB/ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with a focus on radiation safety and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have experience with radiopharmaceutical preparation/administration and a commitment to ongoing professional development within a collaborative clinical team.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners in nuclear medicine or radiology.
• Registered with NMTCB and/or ARRT.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Committed to ongoing professional development through continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services using radionuclides for diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform cardiac PET/CT procedures and nuclear imaging.
• Operate and maintain imaging and radiation detection equipment.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals following policy and state statutes.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
