Job summary

Medical Outsourcing Solutions is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our facility-based imaging team in a part-time/contract role with flexible scheduling and no holidays. The position offers 24 hours per week, with competitive hourly pay and benefits for full-time equivalents.

The ideal candidate holds NMTCB/CNMT/ARRT (N) certification, current BLS, and a valid driver’s license, and is comfortable performing nuclear spect imaging and communicating findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician, NMTCB/CNMT/ARRT (N)
• Active BLS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to complete background checks required

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Spect Imaging to assist in diagnostic evaluations.
• Ensure proper aseptic techniques are followed during procedures.
• Maintain and operate medical imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images.
• Collaborate with physicians to interpret results and provide accurate reports.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in nuclear medicine.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the process.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications & Responsibilities:

• Board Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician, accredited by NMTCB, CNMT, ARRT (N)
• Active BLS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to complete background checks required
