Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to prepare radiopharmaceuticals, administer radionuclides, and produce high-quality nuclear medicine images. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and graduate of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• Board certification in nuclear medicine technology and current licensure.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying workloads.
• Registration with NMTCB or ARRT; PET rotations require NMTCB PET technologist certification or certification within 18 months.
• CPR/BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare on-demand diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
• Review patient medical history to understand illness and pending diagnostic procedures.
• Administer radionuclides and adjunct medications in clinical and hospital settings.
• Produce high-quality nuclear medicine images meeting Mayo Clinic Radiology standards.
• Operate PET/CT, PET/MR, SPECT/CT and related equipment; perform image processing and analysis.
• Coordinate and deliver patient treatments as part of a multi-disciplinary team within the SNMMI Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence.
• Provide education and clinical training to Nuclear Medicine Program students and support staff.
