Job summary

Medix is seeking a licensed radiologic technologist to join our mobile PET imaging program, delivering PET/PET-CT imaging directly to outpatient sites across New York and New Jersey.

The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, teamwork with a mobile unit driver and Paramedic/RN support, and a direct-hire path.

Qualifications

• Active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
• State radiologic technologist licenses for NJ and/or NY (or eligible to obtain).
• Hands-on PET / PET-CT / SPECT imaging experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for regional site visits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PET imaging at outpatient sites across NY/NJ.
• Travel using personal vehicle between local NY/NJ sites.
• Work at one site per day to minimize travel between locations.
• Include ~2 hours pre-appointment setup for equipment warm-up and QC.

While you travel using your personal vehicle between local NY/NJ sites, this is a permanent, direct-hire position with extensive travel perks:

• Above-IRS Mileage Reimbursement for personal vehicle use.
• $100 Daily Travel Stipends: $100 on departure day, $100 for each day away, and $100 upon return home.
• $50/Day Meal Per Diem for any required overnight stays.
• Fully Paid Travel: Hotel accommodations, rental cars, or flights arranged and covered directly via Navan.
• Paid Travel Time: Get paid your hourly rate during clinical travel time.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Licensure: Active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
• State Licenses: Valid New Jersey and/or New York State Radiologic Technologist / Nuclear Medicine licenses (or eligible to obtain immediately).
• Experience: Hands-on PET / PET-CT / SPECT imaging experience required.
• Mobility: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation for regional site visits.
