Ironside Human Resources is assisting a healthcare facility near Kennewick, WA in recruiting a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their imaging team. The position offers an hourly salary range of $44.10–$73.84 and a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The role performs nuclear medicine procedures, corroborates patient history, and operates imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. BLS certification and ARRT/OBMI registry are required.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from nuclear medicine accredited program.
• OBMI and ARRT registered nuclear medicine technologist.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine procedures and related techniques to produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Corroborates patient's clinical history with the procedure and ensures documentation is available for use by the practitioner.
• Operates radiation detection and imaging equipment and positions patients and equipment to demonstrate areas of interest.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity:

Performs nuclear medicine procedures, and related techniques producing images for interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner.

Corroborates patient's clinical history with procedure, assuring information is documented and available for use by a licensed practitioner.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist will select and operate radiation detection, imaging and/or associated equipment to successfully perform procedures.

Positions patient and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest, respecting patient ability and comfort.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from nuclear medicine accredited program.
• OBMI and ARRT registered nuclear medicine technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
