Job summary

Essentia Health Virginia Hospital in Virginia, MN is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams and to operate imaging equipment. You will work with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high quality diagnostic images.

The role requires completing a CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine program or internship with ARRT/NMTCB eligibility, plus ARRT NM or NMTCB licensure, and offers a 0.8 FTE schedule with day shift in an on-site setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Internship in Nuclear Medicine with eligibility for ARRT or NMTCB.
• ARRT NM or NMTCB licensure required.

Responsibilities

In this role you will get too:

Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques. Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Education Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program

OR

• Completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration
