Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Nuclear Medical Technologist to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction. You will provide quality images, assist Radiologists, and educate patients while ensuring safety protocols.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree, NY State RT license, and AART or NMTCB certification; 1–2 years of experience preferred. New graduates may be considered.
The Nuclear Medical Technologist is responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment to help diagnose and treat diseases. This position prepares and administers purified unstable atoms to patients causing radiopharmaceuticals to emit radiation, which indicates the presence of disease, based on metabolic changes in the patient's body. In addition, this position assists Radiologists as needed.
1-2 years of relevant experience preferred; new graduates may be considered.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Valid NY State RT License. AART and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required.
