Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in nuclear medicine to perform diagnostic studies and assist with therapeutic administrations using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment in a modern clinical setting. You will review orders, collect patient data, and ensure high-quality images with PET/CT systems while adhering to safety, regulatory, and departmental protocols.

Qualifications

• College diploma or completion certificate in radiologic technology.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (Radiography).
• CNMT certification within 1 year, with registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) within 1 year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Strong technical skills, positive attitude, and ability to multitask independently.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing orders, patient history, and supporting data for medical necessity.
• Acquiring and processing patient exams with Nuc Med and PET/CT equipment, ensuring image quality and accuracy.
• Administering IV radiopharmaceuticals, performing veni-puncture, and screening patients for pregnancy.
• Transferring and verifying image data in PACS and utilizing RIS for scheduling, billing, and coding.
• Maintaining equipment and work environment, recognizing malfunctions, and ensuring safety for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Assisting in training students and new staff, and performing cross-modality duties when needed.
