Job summary

A leading provider of diagnostic imaging services is seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist for their Stone Oak facility in San Antonio, TX. This full-time position requires expertise in performing PET and PET/CT exams and administering radioactive tracers. The successful candidate will be part of a dedicated team providing patient-focused care. Qualifications

• Experience as a PET/CT Technologist is preferred.
• Certification in NMTCB or ARRT and TMB registration are required.
• Patient-focused and safety-conscious radiology professional.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET and PET/CT exams including 3D imaging.
• Calculate and inject radioactive tracers for imaging.
• Educate and screen patients for comfort and safety.
• Insert IVs and test blood markers as needed.

Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-focused PET/CT Technologist on a full-time basis for our Stone Oak facility in San Antonio, TX.

Monday-Friday shift.

Duties/Exams performed include:

• Perform PET and PET/CT exams, including 3D imaging of organs.
• Prepare, calculate, and inject radioactive tracers (radiopharmaceuticals) to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue.
• Screen, educate, and monitor patients for comfort and safety.
• Insert intravenous catheters and test blood glucose/creatinine levels.
