Role Overview: Performs diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
Key Responsibilities: Operates imaging cameras, positions patients, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols, and ensures accurate image submission. Maintains equipment functionality, maintains a clean department, and adheres to radiation safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills: Completion of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program with credentialing (ARRT-N, CNMT, or equivalent). No prior experience required. Physical ability to stand, lift, move patients, and handle equipment.
Certifications: BLS Healthcare Provider, and state-specific nuclear medicine technologist certification or temporary accreditation, as applicable.
