Job summary

Health Wealth Safe in Peoria, IL is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under radiologist supervision, for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

Job description

We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages, under the supervision of a radiologist.

• Responsibilities include: conducting accurate nuclear medicine exams, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, maintaining radiation safety, performing quality control, and documenting procedures and safety records.
• Additional duties: troubleshooting equipment, managing radioactive materials, supporting departmental operations, ensuring patient safety, and facilitating patient flow and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or equivalent), licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, Basic Life Support (BLS), and relevant educational credentials. Work experience in nuclear medicine is preferred.
