Sentara Brock Cancer Center in Norfolk, VA is hiring a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You will perform Nuclear Medicine imaging under physician direction, manage radiopharmaceutical doses, and operate related equipment to ensure accurate diagnostic results.

Responsibilities

Overview

Sentara Brock Cancer Center is now hiring a Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Norfolk, VA!

Conducts general Nuclear Medicine imaging of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician, to include positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology. Competent in preparation, dose management and administration of radiopharmaceuticals, radioisotopes, operation of radiation producing equipment, operation of the electronic radiology systems, preparation of patient room/equipment, provides patient and family education and maintains adequate supply inventory. Explains examination procedure and discharge instructions to patient and completes departmental documentation. Complies with all radioactive activity monitoring and documentation. Performs to all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.90 - $65.99 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
