ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of nuclear medicine technology as outlined by state and federal requirements. Ability to answer basic patient questions or escalate to a physician or mid-level provider. Basic triaging skills, BLS certification, and knowledge of ICANL guidelines are required. Current BLS certification is mandatory.
EDUCATION
Must maintain continuing education in Nuclear Medicine Technology as per standards. Must be registered by NMTCB and/or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine and hold a current AZ license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges. Exertion of up to 10 lbs occasionally. Good manual dexterity and reasoning skills. Emotional stability to handle stressful situations. Ability to use management reports and medical charts effectively.
