Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Maryland is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging and dynamic function studies under general supervision to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses.

Required education includes an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology, Maryland state licensure, ARRT and/or NMTCB accreditation, and Healthcare Provider CPR; strong communication skills are essential to work with patients and families under stress.

Qualifications

• Accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology completed.
• Maryland licensure required for practice.
• ARRT and/or NMTCB accreditation preferred or required.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification is mandatory.

Job description

Under general supervision, performs imaging and dynamic function studies in order to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.Education: Successful completion of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology. Licensures/Certifications: Maryland State licensure, Accreditation by the ARRT and or NMTCB Maintain “Healthcare Provider” CPR course Skills:

• Exhibits interpersonal and verbal communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and families, who may be under physical and/or emotional stress.
• Ability to process diagnostic images through computer manipulation and technique. Pay Range $33.06 - $54.22 Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
