Job summary

Northern Light AR Gould Hospital in Presque Isle, ME is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to manage patient flow and perform imaging studies in a fast-paced environment, following approved policies and protocols.

This PRN role requires CNMT or RT(N), an active Radiologic Technologist license, and the ability to cover varied shifts including weekends and holidays. The incumbent will prep patients, administer IV contrast, operate PACS, and participate in QA/QC activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist and CNMT or RT(N) certification required.
• Associate or higher degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow to obtain imaging studies in a fast-paced setting.
• Perform imaging with QA/QC of imaging equipment and proper patient preparation.
• Administer IV contrast and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain records, PACS operations, and QA/QC for CT scanner.
• Cover variable shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
