Job summary

Medical City Lewisville, part of the HCA Healthcare network, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Tech Lead to prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure safety standards. The role requires certification/eligibility (CNMT/ARRT N) with a Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent and BCLS within 30 days.

Call duties involve after-hours on weekdays after 5PM and 24 hours on weekends; reside within 30 minutes for on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent field is required.
• CNMT or ARRT (N) certification/eligibility is required or pending.
• Texas MRT license is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for scans of specific organs to furnish diagnostic information.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images and measure isotope concentration.
• Maintain radiation safety and a safe environment for patients and staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Associate performs a variety of duties in preparing patient for scans of particular organs to furnish diagnostic information. He/she will operate Nuclear Medicine equipment to produce images and measures concentration of radioactive isotopes in specified body areas. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed. Associate maintains safe environment for patients, visitors, staff and co-workers. Supports and helps achieve the departmental and hospital goals.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent
• Must be certified/eligible by CNMT or ARRT (N)
• Must possess MRT from Texas Medical Board
• 1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred
• Call would require you to live within 30 min response time
• Call is shared with current staff rotation and would be after 5PM on weekdays and 24 hrs on weekends
