Job summary

Medical City Denton, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN. The role involves performing quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, following physician orders, and ensuring patient safety and service excellence. You will participate in call/holiday coverage and maintain competency through ongoing education.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree with CNMT/NMT certs and R.T. credentials; BCLS within 30 days; preferred with 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 1 year experience.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree; CNMT or NMT certification

Responsibilities

• Performs quality Nuclear Medicine procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity and a positive attitude. Initiative and judgment required in assuming responsibilities.
