Job Summary and Qualifications

• Perform general radiographic procedures under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with a high degree of independent judgment.
• Perform tests on in-patients and outpatients using Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the scope of practice.
• Demonstrate industry standards in radiation safety.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
• ACLS to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• State Registered Radiologic Technician.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)- AART (NM).
• NMTCB PET Certification preferred.
