Responsibilities

  • Prepares radioactive isotopes for administration to patients.
  • Operates scintillation detection equipment to measure isotope concentrations.
  • Conducts organ or body scans on patients.
  • Administers isotope dosage and records dosage administered.
  • Performs laboratory tests on body specimens.
