Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET and theranostic procedures under radiologist guidance. Qualifications

• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - BLS, MRT license in Texas, ARRT-N or CNMT.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine, PET and theranostic procedures according to exam protocol.
• Ensures QA procedures, equipment QC, and safe operation with RAM/ACR standards.
• Instructs and communicates with patients and families per HIPAA guidelines.
• Maintains radiation safety and infection-control protocols during exams.
• Collaborates with radiologists, nurses and staff and transfers images to PACS.
