Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform radiographic procedures under a Nuclear Medicine Physician. You will apply isotopes for diagnostic purposes and work with diverse patient groups, both in-patients and out-patients, using Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.

Responsibilities include administering radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring radiation safety, and maintaining high standards of patient care in a fast-paced environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
• Maintain MRT Texas state license.
• Have ARRT(NM) or NMTCB Certification; NMTCB PET preferred.
• Current BLS provider per AHA/ARC requirements.
• Training under supervision if in cross‑training program.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, perform general radiographic procedures.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with independent judgment.
• Perform tests in-patients and out-patients.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrate adherence to radiation safety standards.
