Job summary

Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team. This full-time position performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures according to protocols, with emphasis on patient safety and quality control.

Qualifications include completion of a JRCNMT or NMTCB accredited Nuclear Medicine program, ARDMS/ARRT CNMT or NMTCB registration upon hire, and BCLS. No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB is required.
• ARDMS/ARRT CNMT or NMTCB registration upon hire is required.
• BCLS certification upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures per protocols.
• Reviews exam requisitions and notes pertinent information.
• Determines quality of radiopharmaceuticals from suppliers.
• Explains procedures and safety precautions to patients.
• Maintains all required records and licenses per applicable regulations.
