Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology procedures, following protocols, ALARA principles, and manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.

Candidates must complete an accredited Nuclear Medicine program and hold ARDMS/ARRT, CNMT, NMTCB, and BCLS certifications upon hire; no prior experience required. On-site position with Piedmont Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Education: Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB, required.
• No experience required.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech; CNMT; NMTCB; BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to all Protocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to ALARA programs.
• Performs all quality control procedures in accordance with manufacturer, state and federal guidelines.

Education

Nuclear Medicine program accredited by JRCNMT or NMTCB

ARDMS or ARRT - Nuclear Med Tech

CNMT - Certified Nuclear Med Tech CNMT registered Upon Hire

NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech NMTCB registered Upon Hire
