Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

The role includes performing nuclear medicine and PET procedures, and coordinating dosimetry imaging with a focus on quality control. Candidates should have an associate degree or trade school equivalency, Nuclear Medicine Certification, and RT(N) or CNMT credentials.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency (or higher) in Nuclear Medicine.
• Nuclear Medicine Tech Certification (RT(N) or CNMT).
• RT(N) or CNMT certification required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for Nuclear Medicine and PET diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and quality control.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required by work area.
• Supports BJH Nuclear Medicine, PET and Theranostics treatments with Dosimetry Nuclear Medicine imaging.
