Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech for PRN shifts at Thompson Peak Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ. The role requires radiography training with NM experience and AZ CNMT licensure, plus BLS.

You will operate imaging equipment, prepare rooms, and ensure patient safety during procedures. Responsibilities include isotope dosing, image acquisition, and collaboration with radiologists and the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with ARRT or NMTCB radiography training or US military radiography training.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• 10 months clinical Nuclear Medicine experience or completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
• CNMT license in AZ and ARRT/NMTCB licensure required before start.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates, administers, and records isotope dosage and examination data.
• Obtains patient history and conducts nuclear medicine studies while monitoring safety and comfort.
• Transports patient to exam room, prepares and maintains the room.
• Obtains and evaluates images for quality assurance, including laterality and annotations.
• Maintains equipment and performs routine quality control testing.
• Participates in orientation, training and inservicing of staff; rotates through department as needed.
• Supports daily workflow coordination and maintains a clean, safe environment and inventory.

Performs data entry operations using appropriate hospital software package.
