Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle seeks an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support cancer imaging research and clinical trials. Responsibilities include protocol reviews, coordination with physicians and radiologists, and overseeing imaging workflows across modalities.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB licensure, CT certification, BLS, 3+ years of technologist experience with leadership exposure, and strong communication skills. Competitive benefits and on-site facilities provided.

Formación

• Bachelor degree qualifies for Nuclear Medicine certification.
• Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification (Nuclear Medicine).
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB license or equivalent state license for nuclear medicine technology.
• ARRT (CT) certification or NMTCB (CT) certification within 12 months of employment.
• Current BLS Health Provider Card, renewal every two years.
• Three years technologist experience, one year lead/supervisory experience.
• Effective written and oral communication.
• Thorough knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and research study design and analysis.
• Flexibility in schedules and assignments; strong customer relations and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Review all research protocols to determine if imaging/tumor measurements are part of the trial.
• Assist on-site physicians in devising and refining clinical procedures and standardize workflow with radiologists.
• Complete site survey forms including equipment, contacts, data transfer, and protocol specifics.
• Direct imaging support for clinical trials and participate in cross-organizational meetings.
• Assist in trial design, statistical support, and analysis of results from cancer imaging research.
• Maintain database for Fred Hutch research studies and coordinate phantom data or de-identified scans as required.
• Coordinate scheduling of research exams and liaise with other departments as needed.
