Job summary

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC is recruiting Nuclear Medicine Radiologists to provide onsite services at the Lexington VA Healthcare System in Lexington, KY. Shifts are typically Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm, with both full-time and locum tenens opportunities and competitive compensation. Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Radiology, hold a current U.S.

medical license, and maintain BLS/ACLS. DEA license and ability to pass a federal background check are required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified radiologist with current license to practice medicine in the U.S.
• Active DEA license and eligibility to prescribe controlled substances.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Must pass a federal background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Nuclear Medicine and related radiology procedures including CT, MRI, ultrasound, PET/CT and interventional radiology.
• Consult with referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for procedures.
• Determine treatment course and communicate with clinicians in person or by phone.
• Oversee pre- and post-procedure workflows for technologists and nurses.
• Administer and supervise drugs as needed for imaging procedures.
• Provide discharge education and follow-up instructions coordinated with subsequent care settings.

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Nuclear Medicine Radiologists to provide onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Lexington VA Healthcare System located at 1101 Veterans Dr. Lexington, KY 40502. Shift scheduling is generally Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm. Full-time and Locum Tenens positions with generouscompensation packages are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Nuclear Medicine procedures including, but not limited: General Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT.
• Shall provide consultation with and instruction to referring physicians regarding appropriate indications for radiologic procedures.
• Shall determine appropriate course of treatment and communicate in person or by phone with the referring clinicians.
• Ensures pre and post technical oversight and feedback for the technologists and nurses involved in performing procedures.
• Administration/supervision of all drugs as needed for the performance and interpretation of imaging examinations.
• Shall provide discharge education and follow up instructions that are coordinate with the next care setting for all emergency department patients.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Radiology.
• Active, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
• NPI report printout.
• Must maintain active AHA BLS and ACLS.
• Active DEA license.
• Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.

• Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.
• Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist.
• Lift up to 20 lbs.
• Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
• Push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
