Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group in Hartford, CT is seeking a BC/BE Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to support Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford and Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs. The position is full-time, onsite, with after-hours call and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Residency trained in Radiology and fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine or extensive Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Comprehensive proficiency in Nuclear Medicine exams and modalities.
• Expertise in nuclear imaging interpretation and therapeutic procedures.
• Proficiency with imaging tech such as PACS and radiology IT platforms.
• Experience in high-volume clinical environments within an integrated health system.
• Collaborates effectively with referring clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret a full spectrum of Nuclear Medicine exams.
• Supervise nuclear medicine procedures and ensure quality and safety.
• Collaborate with referring clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to a high-volume, patient-centered radiology service within an integrated system.

Nuclear Medicine Radiologist opportunity in Connecticut

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to support clinical services at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT; Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, CT.

Preferred Experience

• Residency trained in Radiology, and Fellowship trained or extensive experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Comprehensive proficiency in the full spectrum of Nuclear Medicine exams and modalities.
• Expertise in nuclear medical imaging interpretation, therapeutic procedures, procedure supervision.
• Proficiency with sophisticated state-of-the-art imaging technology and PACS, Power scribe, and current radiology IT platforms.
• Experience in high-volume clinical environments with an integrated health system.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with referring clinicians and multi-disciplinary teams.

Certification & Licensure

• Board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
• American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) certified/eligible.
• Valid medical license (or eligibility) in CT.
• Will need authorized user certification upon hiring.
• DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification. Or eligibility to obtain both.
• Maintained credentialing in accordance with medical staff bylaws and regulatory requirements.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS optional depending on subspecialty)
