Job summary

McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging within the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Imaging. A board-certified radiologist with subspecialty training in nuclear medicine or a board-certified nuclear medicine physician is sought, with dual ABR/ABNM certification desirable.

Qualifications

• ABR or ABNM certified and CAQ certified or eligible.
• Experience with protocoling, supervising, and interpreting nuclear medicine studies and therapies.
• Texas Medical license or qualification for faculty temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality interpretation of nuclear medicine examinations (PET/CT, PET/MRI, SPECT/CT).
• Evaluate and manage patients undergoing radiopharmaceutical therapy and follow-up.
• Teach and supervise residents, fellows, and medical students; participate in multidisciplinary conferences.
• Contribute to research, scholarly publications, and clinical program development.
• Engage in quality improvement, safety, and accreditation activities.
