Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of nuclear medicine studies including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and produces quality images following protocols.
• Prepares equipment, instrumentation, and supplies ensuring safe patient care.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and reports variances.
• Coordinates patient care with effective assessment, actions, and documentation; maintains supply inventories.
• Maintains records of tests, results, and disposition of isotopes.
• Orders, prepares, calibrates, stores, and administers radiopharmaceuticals and performs QC on instruments.
• Operates radiation detection devices to measure radionuclides in patients or specimens.
