Job summary

Qualifications

• Nuclear medicine imaging and PET procedures performed per protocol.
• ALARA radioprotection and safety knowledge applied during procedures.
• Document tests, results and isotope disposition according to scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine studies including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images following established protocols.
• Document clinical data per scope of practice and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and safety policies to protect patients and staff.
• Prepare equipment, instrumentation and supplies to support patient care.
• Coordinate patient care, perform assessments and document actions taken.
• Maintain inventory to ensure uninterrupted service and timely access to materials.
• Order, prepare, calibrate, store and administer radiopharmaceuticals for routine and on-call procedures.
• Perform quality control on instruments and facilities.
• Operate radiation detection devices and measure radionuclide distribution in patients or samples.
