Atlantic Medical Imaging Llc in Wall, NJ is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist to join a growing outpatient radiology practice. The role involves operating imaging and related equipment, performing static, dynamic and in vitro scans, and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients.

Candidates must hold NJDEP licenses, ARRT/NM registration or CNMT eligibility, CPR/BLS, and demonstrate excellent communication and patient care.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• NJDEP license required for Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT/NM registration or CNMT eligibility required or registrant eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Operates imaging, survey, assay and image developing equipment.
• Performs static, dynamic and invitro scans on referred patients.
• Administers radiopharmaceuticals to patients (injection or oral).
• Inserts IV catheters and assists patients on/off the table.
• Adheres to HIPAA and patient privacy policies.
• Participates in staff meetings and training sessions.

AMI is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist to join the team! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.AMI offers the 401K retirement benefit to Per Diem employees. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.The Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist is responsible for, but not limited to:Operates all imaging, survey, assay and computational image developing and patient-care related equipment in the office;Adheres to HIPAA policies and respects and protects patient privacy at all times;Performs all static, dynamic and invitro scans required on referred patients;Performs and documents all required radiation-related surveys per office policies as developed in conjunction with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, NJ Bureau of Radiation Health and the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations;Administers required radiopharmaceuticals to patients, either by injection or orally and is capable of inserting IV catheters;Assists patients on & off table. Uses appropriate lift assist devices as warranted;Participates in all staff meetings, in-service training programs and other announced meetings as per office policy;Obtains understanding of and applies office policies and procedures as they relate to both employee and patient safety and well-being;Performs other related technical and clerical duties to assure the proper, orderly and efficient operation of the Nuclear Medical Laboratory; andPerforms all other duties as required and assigned.Available shifts include weekdays 7:30am-6pm, as needed for PTO coverage. This position will provide coverage in the Wall, NJ office location. Schedules are based on employee availability and department needs.Eligible candidates are:Graduates of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine TechnologyLicensed by the NJDEP for Nuclear Medicine TechnologyLicensed by the NJDEP for Xray or Limited CT FusionRegistered or registry-eligible by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine Technology or registered by the CNMT registryRegistered or registry eligible by ARRT in CT or RadiographyCurrent and valid American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification is required prior to the start of employment. Candidates must have the ability to administer required radiopharmaceuticals to patients, either by injection or orally.
