Qualifications

• Associate's Degree Diagnostic Imaging required.
• CNMT/ARRT-N Certification required within 180 days.
• Radiologic Technologist Nuclear Medicine - State License - required.
• BLS Certification - required within 90 days.
• Nuclear Medicine Tech experience with 1–2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care while producing diagnostic procedures safely while operating Nuclear Medicine and CT equipment.
• Scan patients properly, and prepare for procedures including transporting, transferring, immobilizing, and positioning.
• Explain procedures to patients considering physical and emotional needs; record images for radiologist interpretation; maintain required documentation regarding radioactive materials.
