Job summary

PIH Health seeks a skilled Nuclear Medicine Specialist to perform nuclear medicine and PET exams with emphasis on patient safety and comfort. The role covers imaging across vascular and organ systems using radioisotopes, CT guidance, and fusion imaging techniques where appropriate.

Candidates should have CA DHS license, ARRT CT or NMTCB PET certification, and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine training; hospital experience and CPR/BLS are required. Excellent ALARA practices are essential.

Job description

Performs nuclear medicine and PET exams maintaining maximal patient safety and comfort. Exams include all parts of the vasculature structures and organ systems.

Required Experience

• State of California DHS License (N) (R)
• ARRT certification in CT and/or NMTCB certification in PET
• Two (2) years training in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
• CPR/BLS
• Two (2) years’ experience in a hospital setting performing nuclear medicine technology with fusion imaging.
