Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a permanent position. You will interpret physician scanning instructions, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and perform PET/CT and other nuclear medicine procedures while ensuring patient and radiation safety.

You will operate PET/CT and gamma camera equipment across regional sites. The role requires ARRT and JRCERT credentials, BLS certification, and willingness to travel to various coverage sites, including regional

Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiology.
• Current ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT preferred where required by state regulations.
• Willingness to work in mobile/coach unit environments.
• Long-term commitment to quality patient care.
• Willingness to travel between coverage sites within the region.

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you’ll be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician’s scanning instructions, skillfully administering radiopharmaceuticals and contrast as appropriate, performing PET/CT and other nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring patient safety and radiation safety, and expertly operating PET/CT and gamma camera equipment.

• 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine preferred.
• Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT where required by state regulations is preferred for regional roles.
• Willingness to work in mobile/coach unit environments. Typical staffing model is two technologists per mobile unit.
• Long-term commitment to quality patient care preferred by the client.
• Willingness to travel between coverage sites within the region, including UConn, Winchester, Mt. Auburn, and White River Junction.
