Trinity Health in Maywood, IL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time day shift, M-F with rotating start times. You will coordinate and perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, collaborating with leadership to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requires an Associate Degree and NMTCB CNMT certification, CPR/BLS, and Illinois licensure. On-call/holiday rotation and competitive shift differentials are included; benefits from day one are noted.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent.
• Accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
• BLS CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• NMTCB certification as CNMT or CNMT equivalent.
• NMTCB CNMT certification required; Illinois IEMA license.
• Licensed by IEMA (Illinois) as required for position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and implement patient care delivery for Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Collaborate with Imaging Services leadership and Senior Tech to perform procedures.
• Perform ionizing radiation procedures for diagnostic imaging with independent judgment.

About the Job

In this role, the Nuclear Med Technologist is responsible for coordinating, directing, and implementing of the patient care delivery of Nuclear Medicine procedures. Works in conjunction with the Director of Medical Imaging services and Senior Nuclear Medicine Tech. Performs technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for computerized tomographic diagnosis.

• Specific Degree(s): Accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Licensure/Certifications:
  Required:
  Basic Life Support (CPR) from American Heart Association
  Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
  Other: Registered by NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
  Licensed by IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) Division of Nuclear Safety

Pay Range: $39.00 - 59.00 per hour
