Job summary

Cardinal Health's Nuclear Manufacturing division is hiring for a full-time position on the 2nd shift in Indianapolis, IN. The role pays $35.00 per hour and includes a 40-hour workweek with training on the 1st shift.

The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, with flexibility for additional hours, weekends, and holidays. The role requires adherence to cGMP standards, inventory management, quality verification, and equipment maintenance in a regulated

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with bulk formulation or filling; aseptic technique preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Experience in manufacturing in a controlled environment preferred.
  • Flexible with shifts and schedules including weekends/holidays.
  • Nuclear environment familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute SOPs in CGMP framework and GDP.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Monitor and verify quality per SOPs.
  • Perform general maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production demands.

What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health

Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.

Shift/Schedule
  • 40 hours weekly / Full Time
  • 2nd shift hours
  • Monday – Friday 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
  • Training will be completed on 1st shift schedule (7:00am - 3:30pm)
  • Must be flexible to work other hours and days as needed including weekends and holiday
Responsibilities
  • Ability to execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements including Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Ability to manage inventory
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with SOPs
  • Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning of equipment and facility
  • Work in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure product/productionexpectations and demands are met
  • Disciplined approach to adhering to a large volume of SOPs, with the ability to adapt to process improvements
  • Ability to learn and utilize technology to support manufacturing processes
  • Knowledgeable in Formulation and Filling
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of experience preferred
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Experience with bulk formulation OR filling required. Experience with both is preferred. Aseptic technique preferred.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, preferably in a controlled environment and/or regulated industry preferred
  • Ability to manage weight up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to be an effective team member.
  • Able to repeatedly follow detailed processing instructions
  • Multi-task, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Flexibility to work various shifts/schedulesas needed
  • Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
