Nuclear ISFSI Security Officer - Armed

Starting pay - $20.27, progressing to $34.81 after training and OJT (approx. 4-6 weeks). Position begins shortly after Labor Day.

Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of Nuclear ISFSI Security Officer - Armed. This role involves providing physical security for nuclear Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) facilities, including surveillance, access control, monitoring security systems, report writing, and deterrence of criminal activity and safety violations. The officer will also respond to emergencies such as medical, fire, and hazards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain compliance with all site policies, procedures, and directives.
2. Assess alarms, investigate, and report suspicious activities or circumstances.
3. Identify safety and fire hazards and recommend improvements.

Basic Qualifications

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of any required state training or licensing.
• Valid driver's license.
• Compliance with state, county, and municipal security officer requirements.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Experience

• Verifiable work history if previously employed.
