The eligible candidate should possess a significant experience in welding, particularly within nuclear environments, and be a member in good standing with a recognized union. This position requires adherence to safety and quality regulations, and candidates must be capable of interpreting technical documents and performing inspections. Qualifications

  • Must be a current member in good standing with UA or Boilermaker Union.
  • Must have certification in multiple welding techniques (e.g. ASME or AWS).
  • Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and material properties.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations on nuclear components using approved processes.
  • Interpret and follow blueprints, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure quality.
