Job summary

SHINE Technologies in Janesville, Wisconsin is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to plan and schedule facility testing, commissioning, and validation activities for all equipment and systems, including first-of-a-kind nuclear and chemical processing assets. You will ensure testing is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum five years of experience in construction, startup, testing, commissioning, operations, or facility engineering.
• Experience in Navy Nuclear or NRC/DOE regulated environments preferred.
• Ability to work safely in industrial and radiation environments.
• Experience with scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project) preferred.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule facility testing, commissioning, and validation activities.
• Promote a safe work environment and safety culture.
• Review drawings, P&IDs, and submittals to identify commissioning needs.
• Coordinate activities with Construction, Engineering, QA, Operations, and vendors.
• Prepare commissioning checklists, test procedures, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain complete commissioning records and turnover packages.
• Support or conduct factory and site acceptance tests and commissioning reports.
