Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. in Clinton, Illinois, is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage the engineering function and serve as backup to the Site Engineering Director.

The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, staffing, and high-quality technical results across nuclear operations. You will direct station engineering needs and participate in planning and performance reviews to drive safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science.
• 10 years of overall experience including 4 years power plant, 1 year nuclear, 1 year supervisory.
• Active/inactive Senior Reactor Operator license or equivalent knowledge.
• Compliance with ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 requirements for personnel selection/training.
• Ability to meet access requirements and pass medical exams as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide management of the engineering function with respect to station needs and regulatory requirements.
• Direct and develop engineering personnel to achieve high-quality results aligned with site and corporate objectives.
• Lead as a key manager in Business Planning, Budget, and Performance reviews for Site Engineering.
• Oversee staff employment, development, compensation, and performance evaluation.
• Contribute as senior resource to Nuclear-wide programs and standardized engineering processes.
