Job summary

Constellation Energy in Illinois seeks an Engineer at mid-level (E02) or senior (E03) to perform advanced technical engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. You will make technical decisions, apply engineering principles, and ensure compliance with applicable industry codes and regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience.
ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 compliance requirements.
Maintain unescorted access requirements and favorable medical examination/testing.

Responsibilities

Provide in-depth engineering analysis and program management.
Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through engineering expertise.
Manage engineering tasks with proper configuration and criteria.
Perform independent research and analyses for technical projects.
Recommend equipment and techniques to improve performance and reduce costs.
Support outage activities and emergency responses as needed.
