Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. invites applications for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support our Nuclear Design Group across multiple U.S. offices, including Aiken, SC.

You will contribute to engineering projects, safety analyses, and field walkdowns while gaining hands-on experience under seasoned professionals. The role requires an ABET‑accredited degree, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel and work outdoors.

Qualifications

• Graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited school in one of our listed preferred majors.
• Available to start on an agreed upon date between January 2027 and July 2027.
• Preferred Courses: Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Material Science, and Statics.
• A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to effectively problem solve.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
• Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
